P4 Post Mortem

Prototype 4 was an interesting one to work on. We were able to work in a larger group and we had an engine to work with. However we also had no client (other than our teacher) and a lot of work to do for other classes.
I made a prototype of my vision of the game, which I had been thinking about for some time, over the first weekend. Not sure how that turned out since the other programmers didn't seem to be able to wrok well with the already made system. Although it seems like that is what id going to happen a lot in the industry. You aren't often going to make something from scratch, but instead take an existing system and add a feature to it. However I may try to leave more of the easy parts of a game for other people to get their feet wet with it. Because it makes sense it would be hard to start with making the new feature to the game instead of the basic, how do i move a box around part.
Next time I get into a lead position I will want someone else to deal with the people, and making sure they are doing work. While i can help with the technical how to get it to work. But i am not good with actually getting people to do work. I also felt bad leaving the class too many times being the lead.
